AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs have received a massive price cut for the first time since their release. The Zen 4 is AMD’s most advanced architecture that uses the new AM5 socket (LGA 1718).
Intel launched the 13th Gen Raptor Lake CPUs to compete with the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs and priced the CPUs very aggressively. And, the Intel 13th Gen CPUs are overall outperforming the new Ryzen 7000s in benchmarks. As a result, the Intel 13th Gen has become a good and balanced option at a lower price than the AMD Ryzen 7000 CPU.
The launch price of the AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU was
Ryzen 9 7950X – $699 (~₹66,000)
Ryzen 9 7900X – $549 (~₹51,900)
Ryzen 7 7700X – $399 (~₹37,750)
Ryzen 5 7600X – $299 (~₹28,500)
AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs Reduced Prices
The current price of the AMD Ryzen 7000s and Intel 13th Gen CPUs are below.
AMD CPU | Price | Intel CPU | Price |
Ryzen 9 7950X | $574 (~₹59,400) | Core i9-13900K /KF | $619 / $649 (~₹59,400/~₹55,500) |
Ryzen 9 7900X | $474 (~₹48,400) | Core i7-13700K /KF | $439 / $420 (~₹43,000/~₹40,600) |
Ryzen 7 7700X | $349 (~₹34,800) | Core i5-13600K /KF | $319 / $299 (~₹33,400/~₹32,200) |
Ryzen 5 7600X | $249 (~₹24,800) |
AMD reduced $125 (₹6600) and $75 (₹3500) on Ryzen 9 7950X and Ryzen 9 7900X, respectively. Also reduced $50 (₹2950/₹3700) on both Ryzen 7700X and 7600X. We will surely update you soon when the Indian prices get reduced. Indian prices have been updated.
Recently, we covered the news that AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs are not on the top best-seller list. While the AMD Ryzen 5000, Intel 13th Gen, and Intel 12th Gen CPUs dominated the list. undoubtedly, at present, Intel offers the best gaming CPU over AMD counterparts.
Look like AMD has restructured the price according to performance after poor sales numbers. Obviously, you need to fight with either performance or price to give you better value.
The Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 CPU only supports DDR5 RAM, so here you will have to pay a premium to choose AMD’s new platform. DDR5 RAM modules are still a bit expensive compared to DDR4 modules. However, if you choose Intel 13th Gen, you can use your old DDR4 RAM with a DDR4-compatible motherboard.
Here, if you have old DDR4 RAM modules, it is recommended to switch to DDR5 RAM to get better future expandability options, RAM speed, and support.
