Microsoft added RGB lighting settings under the personalization option in Windows 11 insider preview build 25295. The inbuilt RGB light settings in Windows 11 reduce the headache of controlling various RGB components.
Currently, to control RGB lights, the brand’s proprietary software is required. The issue is not huge if you use single-brand components in the PC build. Because then you use a single software to control all PC lights. But things change when you add multiple brand RGB components and install various software for RGB light settings.
However, sometimes even one RGB software can cause problems. It’s always better not to install unwanted or bloatware on computers. Built-in RGB light settings in Windows 11 have the potential to solve many complications with ease.
Moreover, we can’t comment on how well this will integrate with the different platforms or how much time Microsoft will take to make it available in stable Windows 11. But sooner or later, RGB light settings in Windows 11 would come in future updates.
RGB light settings in Windows 11 insider build
In Windows 11 insider preview 25295, the light settings are present under the personalization section. At present, Microsoft added some basic RGB settings like Brightness level, lighting effect, effect speed, and colours.
I think Microsoft should also add a fan control option.
