The Ryzen 7000 series, code-named “Rafale”, is the Zen 4 microarchitecture CPU built on TSMC 5nm process node. It supports new DDR5 RAM and PCIe 5.0 lanes. The new CPUs will use the AM5 platform with socket LGA 1718.

We might see significantly higher L2 cache and TDP value than the Ryzen 5000. As per the rumours, the TDP value is expected to be 170 W.

The four leaked Ryzen 7000 CPU SKUs are

  • Ryzen 9 7950X
  • Ryzen 9 7900X
  • Ryzen 7 7700X
  • Ryzen 5 7600X

Beyond that, we’ll probably learn more about their 3D V-cache CPU and upcoming RDNA 3 GPU. AMD is optimistic about announcing its next generation of GPUs later this year.
